Spraying can be applied in domestic and commercial situations. It’s a method we prefer as the spray finish is second to none.
Do you have newly built wardrobes that require a paint finish or a kitchen which needs a revamp?
We also apply spray finishes to the woodwork in a room for an all round excellent finish.
We can also spray existing melamine or previously painted MDF wardrobes.
The reason for the is that paint technology has come on in leaps and bounds, due to health and safety concerns. Paint manufacturers are forced through regulation to create products that work and are safe to use around the house.
The paint we use has been certified safe enough to be used on childrens toys and it’s the paint we use on most of our woodwork assignments.
Our paint is manufactured in Finland and Germany and shipped across to the UK. However, the more recognised premium brands in the UK, like Benjamin Moore and Little Greene spray extremely well.
With the introduction of excellent water based adhesion primers they can be used on PVC, melamine, glass, tiles as well as old oil based gloss paint.
They adhere extremely well and given the right curing time, the top coats dry extremely hard.
The introduction of this technology and its quick drying times has allowed spraying to take place in domestic situations. Years ago this would not be appropiate in domestic situations.
Not all projects can be sprayed though. Sometimes the masking will outweigh the time it takes to do the job by hand. This would not be cost effective for the customer if the job cost more than painting by hand.
But some customers are happy to pay a bit more for a much better finish.
There is no extra charge for spraying. It’s just a preferred method we like to employ to provide the customer with an overall, excellent finish.
